You can also find out the personality types for all astro-signs.  If you do a birth chart--you are able to find out even more detailed information about a person.  The natal chart report will be more specific than a general sun sign--most "daily horoscopes" use the sun sign--so they are general to each month's zodiac sign.  The natal chart is specific to a person at the time of their birth.  To get a natal sign report, you will need the person's birth name, birth city and birth time.  What these signs reveal is an overall look at a person--very similar to a Myers-Briggs test.

Susan Miller Astrology is a very good source for information.  If you go at it with an open mind, you could learn so much about yourself and those around you.  You might even find out about a person's ticks or why they do what they do.

She also provides a very detailed "Monthly Astro-Scope"--which usually runs about 5-6 pages.  I have personally found her Pisces montly astro-scope to be about 96% on target.

Another great source of information about a person is the "Chinese Zodiac"--it's based on birth years, not birth months.  It cycles every 60 years--because each sign has 1 of 5 elements.  Thus you could have been born on the "year of the horse" and be a "fire" element.  With that in mind--the 12 sings=12 years and with the 5 elements (12x5=60) each cycle renews in 60 years.
