Let’s take it a step further. How many people do you know that have the privilege of being able to wake up everyday and be excited to “go” to work? I never knew anyone like that. I know I didn’t fit the bill either. I had an executive position in Accounting for 20+ years. I made incredible money. But, I was miserable. I was stressed out constantly, had a horrible commute and was at the beck and call of an unappreciative boss.
When I had my son, we decided that I would be a full time mommy. This is best decision that I have ever made. However, for the first time in my life, I was not earning my own money, which was very hard for me to deal with.
In June of 2010, I hosted my very first Tastefully Simple party. I immediately fell in love with the products and it didn’t take my husband too long to follow suit. I thought to myself why not give this a try? What did I have to lose? Worse case scenario is I get the products that want for me at a discount. Best case scenario is I make this my new full-time job! I couldn’t be happier with my choice of company for so many reasons. This has given me so much and income is only one. I have built friendships with clients and team members that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I have also been shown so much support by both my team and the company. I would never have imagined that a company of this size would care so much about me and my success. Not to mention that now I call the shots! I choose when I want to work and how I want to work. I am grateful every day for this opportunity.
